Fans of Dark City (myself included) may be happy to hear that there is, at least, a slight, minimal, off-chance possibility of a sequel. Alex Proyas (who was also behind the cool The Crow and I, Robot) discussed the upcoming special edition DVD of Dark City suggested that with support from the fans, if the DVD sells well it may intice the studio to throw a bit of money at him for a sequel.

We can hope.

Dark City 2?

No, Speilberg is not going to direct World of Warcraft.

Unfortunately we have to wait for March of 2007 to see Danny Boyle’s Sunshine sci-fi movie. The good news is there’s great sci-fi to look forward to over the next couple of years.

There’s some footage of Sunshine on the official site (here) and it does look quite nice!
