After resurrecting Rocky, Sylvester Stallone has been hoping to bring back Rambo, but there’s been a glitch. The Weinstein Co. states the distribution rights should have gone to them first, but the production company gave the rights (prematurely) to Lionsgate.
It’ll be hashed out by January, when production should begin on Rambo IV: In the Serpent’s Eye if for no other reason than there’s lots of money to be made here. In Rambo IV, Rambo defends missionaries from a band of pirates. So, maybe there should be a lawsuit on the lame plot instead.

We just have to forgive the casting of Justin Timberlake, and give him a chance as an actor, because Alpha Dog looks quite good (trailer here). It’s directed by Nick Cassavetes, who brought us The Notebook and John Q.
