So there’s a trailer now for the for-sure summer movie blockbuster Transformers (here). I’m still not sold on the new styling of the robots, but you don’t get a good enough view for much of a judgment. The film itself certainly has promise, but there’s another “but”. Trailers for Armageddon and The Island didn’t look too bad either, Michael Bay must have a good trailer editor.

The best thing about the trailer? The music…I love it! I hope it’s not just made for the trailer, but is actually an indication of the score for the film. If so, I’ll be buying the soundtrack.

Transformers movie trailer.

After resurrecting Rocky, Sylvester Stallone has been hoping to bring back Rambo, but there’s been a glitch. The Weinstein Co. states the distribution rights should have gone to them first, but the production company gave the rights (prematurely) to Lionsgate.

It’ll be hashed out by January, when production should begin on Rambo IV: In the Serpent’s Eye if for no other reason than there’s lots of money to be made here. In Rambo IV, Rambo defends missionaries from a band of pirates. So, maybe there should be a lawsuit on the lame plot instead.
