A nice trailer for David Fincher’s Zodiac has appeared online. Though I didn’t feel Panic Room was a great film (like Fincher’s previous works) I think it fell short in areas less in his control, like story-line. It will be nice to see Fincher’s return to something with a larger-scoping story, and a return to the serial-killer genre that made him famous with Seven.

David Finchers film about the Zodiac serial killer who was active in the 70’s, and never caught, has apparently had a name change to Chronicles. This may be because there was a movie released recently on the same topic called Zodiac, which did not get good reviews.

Zodiac is on my list of movies I’m psyched to see, David Fincher’s a great director who does exceedingly well in the serial killer genre. But, I’ll have to wait a little longer to see it…I think.
Zodiac will be in theaters January of 2007, according to Paramount. We thought the return of Fincher would be in theaters this year, though the company says it never made such a release date.
I’ve lamented on how Ghost Rider being moved to 02/07 means it probably sucks, so is this the same for the Zodiac movie? God, I hope not. I’ll use the excuss that it’s due to Fincher’s use of the digital film camera. You know, first time using, had to become familiar with it, yadda yadda yadda.
